Jarak It's nice to see a band using their native tongue for their music, instead of English. More importantly, it's great to hear a band doing good music, regardless of the language of the lyrics. This album ticks that second box nicely.

Sælzer Bub Ich persönlich habe eine Schwäche für deutschsprachigen Black Metal. Staub zu Staub ist großes Kino. Was die Jungs hier als Debüt raushauen, bekommen andere Bands nach 5 Alben nicht hin. Hier gibt es nicht nur Gedresche sondern auch ruhige, melodische Passagen und auch lyrisch geht es anspruchsvoll zu. Ich bin durch Zufall hier über das Album gestolpert und wurde positiv überrascht. Favorite track: An diesem Ort.

jemmavictoria Beyond the beloved black metal blast beats interesting drum arrangements and sweet tremolo guitars play out catchy melodies to a viscerally melancholic tune. Lupus' vocals display the rare skill of clearly enunciating the lyrics whilst maintaining a respectable snarly growl tone. The mix perfectly encaptures a sharp atmosphere whilst allowing each instrument to clearly cut through. This album totally has replayability, hence the purchase - I had it on repeat. Favorite track: An diesem Ort.

Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
